When working out sweating more may cause an increase in bacteria to grow on your skin. This is a factor that can lead to body acne on your back, glutes, inner thighs, and chest. Sometimes bacteria may not be the cause for body acne, but instead it may be due to a condition named keratosis pilaris. Keratosis pilarid is a condition known as “chicken skin” and it results from the build up of keratin in the hair follicle. This buildup of keratin forms a plug that blocks the opening of the hair follicle.
So the big question is, is there anything you can do about it?
The answer is YES!
I have struggled with body acne induced by sweating profusely and keratosis pilaris. After trying many products I have finally resolved this issue and want to share with you ladies what has helped me over come it!

I normally shower after my workouts but on the days that I cannot immediately do so I use these exfoliating pads to wipe the areas where I currently experience breakouts or keratosis pilaris.

Before turning on the water in my shower I use this scrub to gently exfoliate the areas I wan to target in circular motions. I then shower and continue to exfoliate using circular motions. This is used whenever you shower.

This is a lotion to be used post shower after exfoliation. It is used in the evening and you should also try to ensure that you are using sunscreen with it as it can make your skin sensitive to sunlight.
